Liability Waiver & Release

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY BOOKING AND PARTICIPATING IN THIS ACTIVITY, YOU WAIVE CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS.

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that surfing and ocean activities involve inherent risks, dangers, and hazards, including but not limited to:

  • Drowning, near-drowning, or water ingestion.
  • Collision with surfboards, other surfers, rocks, reefs, or the ocean floor.
  • Strong currents, rip tides, and unpredictable wave conditions.
  • Marine life encounters (jellyfish, sharks, stingrays, etc.).
  • Sunburn, hypothermia, or heat exhaustion.

I voluntarily choose to participate in this activity with full knowledge of these risks, and I assume full responsibility for my own safety and well-being.

2. Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and discharge Vessel Ltd. (Day Trip Surfing Tokyo), its guides, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from my participation in this activity.

This release applies to any injury, death, property damage, or loss that may occur, whether caused by the negligence of the released parties or otherwise.

3. Medical Authorization

In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize the guide to secure medical treatment on my behalf if I am unable to do so. I agree to be financially responsible for any medical costs incurred.

4. Personal Property

I understand that I am responsible for my own personal property. The guide is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to my belongings, including rental cars and electronic devices.

5. Agreement

By booking this trip, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this waiver, and I agree to be bound by its terms.
